INTENDED RESULTS OF DISBURSEMENTS THROUGH GRANTS

Fundraising is essential to our organization. Availability of funds will dictate the level of financial resources allocated to our Objectives. By implementing the CSRA objectives, we can instil hope in a seemingly hopeless situation.

THROUGH EDUCATION WE CAN DEVELOP CANADIAN TALENT, BY ENCOURAGING CANADIAN COMPOSITION AND RECORDING CANADIAN MUSICIANS, WE INSURE THE PRESERVATION OF OUR CANADIAN MUSICAL CULTURE.

Once an application has been processed and the results from the independent panel have been received, the successful applicant will become a recipient and will subsequently receive a cheque from the CSRA. By providing grants for music education, the CSRA will be assisting in the advancement of music education, creating opportunities and a level playing field for young Canadians to develop their talents. By providing grants for composition and recording, we ensure the preservation of Canadian musical culture. By implementing the CSRA objectives supporting music education and career development, we will be addressing obvious sociological problems, giving an underprivileged individual the chance to develop their talent so they may become a productive part of our communities by providing something everyone enjoys - MUSIC. Canadian music embodies the creativity and spirit of Canadians. It helps define who we are and reflects the richness of our Canadian culture.
