INDEPENDENT PANELS

Two independent panels to make decisions on grant recipients. One Panel for Objective A and one for Objective B.

Panel A shall consist of music instructors, teachers, professors and educational professionals.
Panel B shall consist of music industry professionals.
Panel members shall serve a one-year term.
Society members are prohibited from serving on a panel.
Any panel member found to have a conflict of interests will be replaced.
Panels are established on a voluntary basis.
The purpose of the panels is to evaluate grant applications and make decisions concerning the disbursement of funds.
If the society members vote to disagree with a panels decision, the Directors of the Society may choose to reverse the decision.
Panels will be established by nomination, election or by appointment.
This will be a continuous process eliminating the need for application deadlines.
