FUNDS AND DISBURSAL POLICIES

Two independent panels to make decisions on grant recipients. One Panel for Objective A and one for Objective B.

1 Once the final decision has been made, successful applicants will become recipients of the CSRA grant programs.
2 The CSRA cheques require the signatures of two Directors.
3 A cheque shall only by issued to an individual if he or she is a successful applicant of a CSRA Objective B Composition or Recording Grant.
4 Cheques for all other grant and bursary programs will be made payable to the relevant school, university, college, music teacher, recording studio or instrument rental and supply company.
5 No more than 20% of donated funds shall be allocated to administration costs or any other expenses that the Society may incur.
6 No less than 80% of donated funds shall be allocated towards fulfilling the Society's Objectives.
7 No more than 20% of proceeds from fundraising activities shall be allocated to administration costs or any other expenses that the Society may incur.
8 No less than 80% of proceeds from fundraising activities shall be allocated towards fulfilling the Society's Objectives.
9 The CSRA shall conduct its affairs without financial gain for its members. Any profits or accretions to the organization shall be used solely to promote its objectives.
10 The Directors will be responsible for the basic operational costs unless the Society has sufficient funds available within the 20% budget allocated for administration and other expenses.
11 The CSRA shall not acquire debt through loans, mortgages or any other means.
12 The CSRA has no intention of acquiring property at this time. Only by the passing of a resolution of the Society's Directors may a property be acquired.
