FUNDRAISING METHODS

Part 1 - Regular Fundraising.

1 Launch the CSRA informational web site with full disclosure.
2 Send e-mails to potential donors.
3 Fax Society information to potential donors.
4 Mail information to potential donors.
5 Telephone canvassing of potential donors.
6 The only products the CSRA intends to sell is advertising merchandise such as T-shirts and similar items. The purpose of their sale is to raise funds and promote the objectives of the CSRA.
7 Radio advertising through corporate sponsorship.
8 TV advertising through corporate sponsorship.
9 Apply to foundations and a qualified beneficiary.
10 Apply for government grants.
11 Distribute posters to appropriate institutions to promote the Society's objectives and interest potential donors.
12 An on-going mail campaign of brochures and flyers.
13 Apply to trust funds as a qualified beneficiary.
14 The CSRA shall not hire professional fundraisers.
15 The 20% budget allocated in funds and disbursal policies shall be used to facilitate and provide the necessary supplies and equipment.
16 A minimum of 50% of all fundraising activities shall be carried out by volunteers.
17 All expenses for fund raising activities shall be met by the CSRA from the 20% budget allocated for administration costs and shall not exceed the 20% revenue budget.

 
Part 2 - Occasional Fundraising

1 Co-ordinating functions to showcase new talented Canadian artists.
2 Community talents shows for children.
3 Recitals and concerts.
4 Talent search contents.
5 The 20% budget allocated in funds and disbursal policies shall be used to facilitate and provide the necessary supplies and equipment.
6 A minimum of 50% of all fundraising activities shall be carried out by volunteers.
7 All expenses for fund raising activities shall be met by the CSRA from the 20% budget allocated for administration costs and shall not exceed the 20% revenue budget.
